"It is built to handle inundation in the region," he said.
He explained the residential area was usually flooded up to 50 cm high when rain poured. But the inundation had not occurred in the last few days, despite the reservoir development was not yet completed.
"That means the reservoir is slightly producing the results, moreover the drainage channel in the area is still being cleaned," he stated.
